A Kisumu Team That Knows Every School Gate

We have spent five years building the local knowledge and school relationships that make your enrolment experience straightforward.

Why Schoolbridgez Exists

School choice should not feel like guesswork — especially not in a city where options vary enormously from one neighbourhood to the next.

Schoolbridgez was established in Kisumu in 2019 after our founder, a former primary school administrator with 12 years of classroom experience, saw the same scene play out too many times: a parent arriving at a school gate on the first day of term, documents incomplete, child in uniform but no confirmed place. The stress was avoidable. It came from a lack of accessible, accurate local information — not from a lack of parental care. We built Schoolbridgez to fill that gap. Our team of three advisers covers Kisumu County full-time, each assigned to specific sub-counties so that local knowledge stays current and detailed. We have formally visited and documented 84 schools since 2019, tracking fee structures, class sizes, performance trends, and admissions timelines. We serve families with children from age two through Form Four — a range broad enough to be genuinely useful across a child's entire pre-university journey. Our clients include working professionals relocating to Kisumu from other counties, families upgrading from a school that no longer meets their child's needs, and first-time parents navigating the nursery sector for the very first time.

How We Work — and What We Do Not Do

Clarity about our process means you know exactly what to expect from the day you contact us.

Every engagement begins with a structured intake conversation — in person at our Oginga Odinga Street office, by phone, or via WhatsApp, depending on your preference. We ask about your child's current academic level, the sub-county you live or work in, your preferred school type (public, private, or faith-based), transport constraints, and your monthly fee budget. From that conversation we build a personal shortlist, usually three to five schools, with a one-page profile for each. We then contact the schools on your behalf, arrange visits where needed, and help you complete the application correctly. Once a place is confirmed, our role closes — we do not provide ongoing academic support, tutoring, or coaching services. We also cannot influence or predict KCPE scores, national placement algorithms, or any school's final admission decision. Our value is in local knowledge, correct preparation, and persistent professional follow-up. Most families complete the process within one to three weeks. We maintain an azure-trust commitment to transparency: if your budget or location genuinely limits your options, we will tell you plainly and suggest the most realistic path forward.

“The adviser assigned to us had visited our preferred school just two months before we came to Schoolbridgez. She knew the new deputy head by name, knew that the school had two Form One slots still open, and knew the exact documents needed that term. That level of current, specific knowledge is what made the difference for us.”
